10 First Day of School Picture Ideas & Printables

It’s that time of year again when mothers everywhere beg their students to, “Please smile for just one nice picture before your first day of school.” It is a right of passage, and we moms wouldn’t miss it. This year how about spicing up that obligatory photo with a cute printable poster or adding a list of your kids faves to the photo. I went looking for inspiration for K’s first day of Pre-K tomorrow, and these are my favorite ideas. I’ll share the end results soon.

This is awesome. What a great way to track the memories and be able to share them w/your little ones when they become big ones. 🙂

Hi. I used your first day of school printables and would love to know what font you used. I want to make something similar for another event with that font. Thanks so much. 🙂

Choose the sign you want to print, and then click on the link below the image to be directed to the blog that designed the sign. There you will be able to print the free signs.

I use PicMonkey.com. It is a free online app. Just upload the picture, add text and save to your computer. Have fun with it, PicMonkey is a great tool!

I’m finding pic monkey fairly easy but VERY time consuming. Can you tell me what you used to create that adorable pic? I can’t figured out which font or how to make the heart.

        Thanks!

Hi Kristin – It gets quicker as you use it a lot. 🙂 The heart is just a text symbol. Copy and paste this ♥ as text and then resize as needed 🙂 Have fun!
