Gear Up At Academy Sports + Outdoors For Back To School

Back to school doesn’t just mean heading back to the classroom, it is also the start of a new season for sports, clubs and other activities. And if your kids are like mine, that means new gear for all of those activities too. For sneakers, backpacks and all the gear my family needs we head […]

Fall Fashion For The Whole Family At Bealls

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bealls Stores. All opinions are 100% mine. In Florida, fall is really just an extension of summer. There is a subtle change of seasons that true Floridian’s recognize, but it’s still pretty hot. So my family has no interest in chunky sweaters until […]

Team Spirit With Dooney & Bourke Collegiate Collection

Saturdays in the fall are all about college football, and in my house that means — GO GATORS! Raised on Gator football, I am a sucker for all things orange and blue, so you can imagine my delight when I discovered the Dooney & Bourke Collegiate line.  A fancy Gator purse? Yes, please! This post […]

Amazon Echo Dot Voice Activated Light Control

Thanks to our Amazon Echo, we live in a smart house. Sure, I know a lot of people who have an Amazon Echo in their house, but I know few people who really use its voice control powers like we do. We use it so much, I have become spoiled and want Alexa to start […]

Graco EveryWay Soother With Removable Rocker Review

If I could, I would lie in bed all day, everyday snuggling my baby. She’s just so darn sweet. But since life continues on and I have three kids, so I have to get up to get things done. When I need to make lunch, work, help the big kids or any other number of […]

Arlo Baby Review: Not Your Average Baby Monitor

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Arlo Baby. All opinions are 100% mine. When is a baby monitor more than you average baby monitor? When it is an Arlo baby monitor. We have used more than 5 different baby monitors over the last 9 years to keep watch over […]

Teach Your Kids Code With Dash Robot – Top STEM Toy

When dad works in technology, his kids naturally want to follow in his footsteps. Our daughters are fascinated with tech and love games that teach them to code – just like dad. Since coding continues to reach every profession (even mom had to teach herself basic coding to run this site), we encourage our girls […]

How To Teach Kids Internet Safety Rules

When it comes to Internet safety and kids, one cannot be too careful. I have good kids. The kind who don’t go looking for trouble, and for that I am extremely grateful. But even when you don’t go looking for it, trouble can find you on the Internet. Especially if you are young, naive and impressionable. So how […]

Choosing The Best Bottle For A Breastfed Baby

Before my oldest was born, I had a complete freak out moment trying to decide what bottles and nipples to buy for her. I was certain my baby was going to starve if I didn’t buy the right bottle/nipple combo. Dramatic? Yes, but that’s what a baby will do to a new mom!

Natural Pet Odor Remover – Skout’s Honor Review

My dogs are just about the cutest dogs ever. (And I am 100% biased!) But those cute little faces make stinky messes. They are getting older, 12 and 11 years old, and they have occasional accidents. Unfortunately for me, their bathroom of choice is my office. Ick! I recently discovered a natural pet odor remover and I am excited to share my Skout’s Honor review.

New Glasses And Meaningful Moments At Pearle Vision

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pearle Vision. All opinions are 100% mine. My kids are always up for an adventure, even when said adventure is Mom announcing on a Saturday morning that we are off to get Mom and Dad’s eyes checked. It might not sound exciting to you, […]

2016 Holiday Barbie Review

When I was a girl, my favorite Barbies were my Peaches ‘N Cream Barbie and my 1989 Holiday Barbie. They were beautiful in their stunning gowns, and they were my pride and joy. But while I played with my Peaches ‘N Cream Barbie regularly, my 1989 Holiday Barbie held a special place of honor – sealed in her box on the shelf. To this day my husband teases me about my Barbie who remained in the box, but I loved her just so and each year I looked forward to bringing her out and placing her on the shelf with my other Christmas decorations.
