I was first introduced to banana bread by my roommate in college. One bite and I was hooked. It became a special treat she would make for me. The perfect banana bread has lots of banana flavor, nuts and is super moist. And many years later, I think I have found my favorite banana bread recipe of all. Yum!
Wrong!
I don’t know what happens to the tangy flavor, but when mixed with bananas, flour, sugar and eggs it is perfectly sweet. The result is a sweet banana bread that is seriously the moistest banana bread I have ever made. Banana bread doesn’t last long in my house, but even the last (end) bite I had four days after making it was moist and delicious!

Share the banana bread with family and friends.
This is the kind of recipe you can serve to guests and be proud to entertain your family and friends this season. In fact, I might just have to wrap up a loaf and send it to my roomie for the holidays — I know it would make her smile!
Next time you find yourself with a three over-ripe bananas — this recipe is a must!
