The Little Mermaid Party Poster & Labels ~ Free Printable

When planning my daughter’s under-the-sea The Little Mermaid party, I wanted to include hints of Ariel. But I didn’t really want it to be a cartoon. I wanted to create some elegance to the party for her favorite princess. Labels

Inspired by the silhouette of Alice I used for a previous Mad Hatter Tea Party, I created imagery of The Little Mermaid based on a silhouette. In keeping with the party colors of blue and purple, I created a poster and matching labels for the food display.

When I found glitter scrapbook paper on sale, it became the perfect matt for the poster and labels. If you don’t have the glitter paper, the poster is still pretty in a frame.

For the labels I named each of my foods (under the sea food ideas here). I also used ones that said, “Thanks for Splashing” on the goodie bags and on the tables. However, I left the labels blank for you to enjoy so you can do whatever you want with them — names for place cards or anything else you can dream.

Hint – you can use PicMonkey for free to add in text yourself.

  4. Thank you so much for the free printables, I plan to share on my website and facebook if you don’t mind it. My little girl is having a Little Mermaid party in Jan. I’ve been planning for all year and these are perfect for it. With the Little Debbie star fish, sea shell brownies and coral cakes (I bought months ago just for this) and these the table will look awesome and won’t be a week worth of work for me. I only have exactly a week after Christmas to put this all together while cleaning up all the Christmas decorations too. Going to be busy for sure! Thanks again!

    • Oh boy, an early Jan birthday would be hard to plan for!!! Yes, please feel free to share the printables, I just ask that you link to the post not just the printable download. But I love when other bloggers share. Best of luck with your little girl’s birthday party, and I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!

  5. Hi, I told you I would share with you the Little Mermaid party I threw for my girl. I’ve shared your site on facebook tonight. Tomorrow I’ll be updating my website with pics and info. Party turned out beautiful with help using the free printable. Thank you again for offering them to the public for free. It was a great help and looked awesome next to my girls underwater pics from this last summer.
If this allows you and other people to see this you can view the party with your printable at http://jokparties.weebly.com

    • To insert text, download the labels and save them to your computer. Then upload the file to PicMonkey.com (a free image editing web app). In PicMonkey, you can easily add text and save them to you computer. (You can also use Photoshop, but PicMonkey is free!)

  6. Hi! I am having trouble getting the Ariel labels to print where the label is bigger? Is there any way you could email the label in a slightly bigger format? Maybe where there are 9 labels to a page instead of 15?

    • Sorry, the labels only come in one size. Be sure you are saving the file to your computer and printing the file, not printing the page that opens. The 15 labels should fill the page.
