Regardless of what ole Punxsutawney predicted, here in Florida spring is quickly approaching. It may still be cool in the morning, but by afternoon the ’80s have arrived. Since the girls have, of course, outgrown their spring wardrobe from last year. It’s time to go shopping.
With one girl in toddler sizes and the other just breaking into “big girl” sizes, I like to shop at stores that offer a variety of clothing for both of my girls. Cute, casual and conservative — with a little trendy flair. One of my favorites is OshKosh B’Gosh. Even my girls Christmas Day outfits came from OshKosh B’Gosh this year.
Walking into OshKosh a couple of weekends ago, one thing was quickly clear – I could easily take home the entire spring line. Classic navy blue paired with coral and pastels paired with chambray – so cute! I wanted it all, and so did my big girl.
Armed with a $100 gift card and a 20% off $30 or more coupon (see printable coupon below), we dove into the colorful options.
My oldest is still at that age where she loves to dress just like her sister, and while I know the cuteness won’t last for the most part I try to go with coordinating looks — instead of straight up matchy-matchy. With OshKosh B’Gosh there are so many coordinating styles, I am often able to find picture perfect styles that go together without matching.
I could have done that on this trip — and that was my original intention. But the truth is I completely adore the comfort and flexibility of a cute pair of girls leggings with a tunic, and so do my girls. So after reviewing out options (several times), I ended up with two matching outfits.
But come on, how cute?
For a grand total of $115.28 I purchased four peplum tops, four pairs of leggings, two chambray shirts, a set of six hair clips and a beach hat. That’s two full outfits for both girls and a versatile shirt for each that can be worn as a layer on cool spring mornings plus accessories. And all from the spring line, I was a very happy mom.
And the girls were pleased with their new outfits too.
We were having too much fun playing to take a wardrobe break, so I didn’t bother with pictures in the second outfit. But this is it:
My girls like comfort, so yes it is basically the same outfit in different colors. Hey, it works for them and we are all happy.
Since OshKosh B’Gosh styles go up to size 12, I will keep buying them matching/coordinating outfits as long as they will let me.
And now for that coupon I mentioned! Everything in-stores and online is currently up to 60% off, and through March 12, you can save an additional 20% on purchases of $30 or more on top of the sale prices.

I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for OshKosh B’gosh. I received a gift card to facilitate my shopping trip and to thank me for participating.
