Bacon Cheeseburger Dip

If your family loves cheeseburgers, this is the dip for you — bacon cheeseburger dip. My cheeseburger-loving daughters gobbled this dip and insisted I make it again next time we need a hot dip. It’s like a cheeseburger in a bowl. And because I served in a bread bowl, it was like our bacon cheeseburger even had a bun – of sorts.

Bacon Cheeseburger Dip

The dip for cheeseburger lovers. It’s like a cheeseburger you can dip your bread (or chips) into. And whether you are making it for a tailgate or a holiday party, friends and family will enjoy this hot dip.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (about 8 oz.)
  • 1 cup Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/3 cup chopped red onion*
  • 4 pieces bacon, crisp-cooked and crumbled
  • 1 round loaf of bread (optional)

*My kids are anti-onion, so I left out the onion.

Directions

Brown ground beef in 10-inch non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally and breaking into small pieces, about 4 minutes; drain. Season, if desired, with salt and pepper.

Reduce heat to medium-low, stir in cheese, Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise and sour cream. Cook, stirring frequently, 6 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Instead of serving in a regular bow, try serving the bacon cheeseburger dip in a bread bowl.

Top with tomato, onion and bacon. Serve with bread from bread bowl, sesame breadsticks, crackers or your favorite dippers.

Optional – Try topping with a ”Special Sauce” by combining 1/4 cup Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise, 2 Tbsp. ketchup and 1 Tbsp. relish.
