It takes a special book to stick with someone from childhood to adulthood, and A Wrinkle In Time is one of those very special stories. It was recommended to me in the 4th grade by one of my favorite teachers, and it captivated me. Fast forward 30 years and today is now one of my daughter’s favorite books.
We have eagerly awaited this movie since it was announced and finding out that OPRAH would portray K’s favorite character, Mrs. Which, was the icing on the cake. Oprah A Wrinkle In Time — squee! The larger-than-life mega star is perfect for the celestial being.
In anticipation of the movie, I even re-read the book. Well, I listened to the book on tape while I drove my kids around town. It was just as wonderful as I remembered it, and with it fresh in my mind I can’t wait to see how it comes together on the silver screen.
The movie release is finally here. A Wrinkle In Time opens in theaters March 9. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will make it to the theater this weekend, but next week is the start of spring break for us so I know we will see it then.
Thanks to Disney Social Media Moms Conference, we even got free tickets to see the movie we can’t wait to see.
