Stop Making Extra Trips For Toilet Paper ~ $25 Walmart Giveaway

tsm 2

“We are out of toilet paper again.”

Even though “out of toilet” paper actually means my husband just restocked the bathrooms, and we had about a week’s worth left, I felt the panic rise. I was leaving in the morning for the first of two trips of the next two weeks, plus school was starting, plus orientations, plus everything else — and now I needed to stop to get toilet paper.

Great. ‘Cause I have time for that.

Then I did something I have never done before. I hoped on Walmart.com, looked up Charmin discovered that the 18 count of mega rolls was $17.97, which put it in my target price range and I put it in my cart.

Walmart Charmin P&G
Since shipping is free for purchases over $50, I decided to see what other household items I could stock up on. Bounty paper towels? Yep. What about Tide Free & Gentle? Yep.

Within five minutes, I had a cart full of our favorite P&G products ready to be shipped to my home for free.

P&G Walmart
Why didn’t I think of this before?

I buy everything else online (including Pampers for the last six years), but I have never purchased big household items online. (Silly, right?!) And frankly, buying household necessities online is genius. I saved a trip, I don’t have to lug the giant package home, and I was still able to meet my goal prices — shipped to my door.

And one more side benefit, by shopping for specific products I need online I avoid the temptation of buying extra items that I don’t need while in the store. (Because you know that happens!)

If you don’t have $50 worth of products you need to buy, you can also use the ship to store option. It isn’t available for all products, but when it is you can save time by just running in to pick up the item you paid for online. Or you can even pay for them in cash — either way you can just go to the counter to collect your items instead of running all over the store.

Walmart Mobile App
While I was adding products to my cart, I noticed an ad for the Walmart App. I downloaded the app and decided to check it out while I caught up with Dancing With The Stars. Guess what? The Walmart app makes it even easier to purchase your favorite P&G products. With the app, you can search for products like you do online or you can just scan the barcode of the product you need more of. Either way, you can made purchases directly through the app. So you don’t even need to be near a computer.

I can go shopping for necessities while sitting with my daughters at dance class!

I don’t know about you, but I am thrilled with the time and hassle I saved. No more running out to the store because we need more toilet paper — I am having my TP delivered!

  8. I would be buying Charmin Toilet Paper since our family goes through so many rolls in a week that I can barely keep up with the demand.
