The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh Now On Blu-Ray/DVD ~ Giveaway

TSM-PPI love that “Silly old bear,” and while there are a bunch of Winnie the Pooh movies, my favorite is still the original, the classic, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

So many classic Pooh moments come from this 1977 movie. It’s the movie that made us all fall in love. From the first time Pooh and Tigger meet, to learning all about Heffalumps and Woozles and the hero parade.

And a rainy day doesn’t go by without me proclaiming “Tut tut, looks like rain.” Followed by singing my own version of  “And the rain rain rain came down down down…”  (because, of course, I never remember all of the real words). Even before we owned a copy of The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh this movie has remained ingrained in me since childhood.

Now we own a copy, and this weekend I had the pleasure of sitting down with my daughters to watch it.

As Disney World regulars, I was quick to point out that the flood scene (and my favorite song) inspired the Winnie the Pooh ride at the Magic Kingdom. (Which seems to have sparked a renewed desire to go again soon, guess it is time to renew our passes.)

Experience the very first time Tigger “pounces” Pooh; laugh out loud when Pooh’s rumbly tumbly gets him stuck in a hilariously sticky situation… All your favorite Hundred Acre Wood characters come alive in this timeless motion picture overflowing with rich animation, masterful storytelling and unforgettable songs.

Stuffed with extraordinary bonus features including the beloved theatrical short film “A Day For Eeyore,” five “Mini Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh” shorts, Disney’s groundbreaking “Intermission” activity and much more, The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh: The Original Classic will make fans of all ages shout “Hip Hip Pooh-Ray!”

Bonus features included with the new release:

  • NEW! Disney Intermission – Press “pause” during the movie and find out what happens!  The narrator invites younger viewers to play along with the Hundred Acre Wood friends in a variety of engaging activities.
  • NEW! Pooh Play-Along – In this bonus feature, the narrator invites viewers to play along with Pooh and his friends.
  • NEW! 5 “Mini Adventures of Winnie the Pooh” Shorts: “If I Wasn’t So Small,” “Piglet’s Drawings,” “The Expedition,” “Geniuses” & “The Honey Song”

  4. That’s like picking a favorite child, but I guess I’m team Eeyore. I call my guy Eeyore when he’s grumpy, and it usually snaps him out of it…
