Bigger Better Chuck E Cheese’s Birthday Parties

Just when you thought a Chuck E Cheese’s birthday party at couldn’t get any better, the fun got bigger and better! More themes, new cakes and a bigger goodie bag are all part of the new offers, and according to my girls everything at Chuck E Cheese’s is just, “So much fun!”

This Chuck E Cheese’s Birthday Party was sponsored, but out big fun was our own.

Chuck E Cheese’s Birthday Party

This is the second time my family has celebrated with a party at Chuck E Cheese, and while we didn’t think we could possibly have more fun than our first party, we totally did.

New Themes

Previously parents had the choice of a girl theme or a boy theme (complete with a cool cape and mask or crown). But Chuck E Cheese’s had raised the bar now offering four party themes to choose from:

  • Party Like a Rock Star
  • Sports, Sports, Sports
  • Dressed in Pink Party
  • Chuck E. Super Fan

Since we had two birthday stars for our party, I chose Party Like a Rock Star for K and Dressed in Pink Party for Sissy. I wasn’t sure before the party what the new themes would include, but the girls were over the moon when they discovered a microphone and light-up bracelet for my rock star and a light-up crown and bracelet for my pink party girl.

Sissy was so excited about that crown she didn’t take it off until bedtime.

Bigger Goodie Bags

When you book a Chuck E Cheese’s birthday party, there are three affordable party options to choose from: Star, Super Star and Mega Star. Each party includes everything you need to have a great party including a party space, pizza, drinks, tokens, a trip to the ticket blaster and the new party themes. But as you go up a level, each party includes more tokens and extras.

For this party, we went all out getting the top party — the Mega Star. And wow – it had everything the kids could want and more including the new bigger and better goodie bags.

Since we went with the Mega Star package, the kids also got ice cream (Dippin’ Dots) and a pinata filled with tickets and tokens. Not to mention that the top-tier party now includes game cards with unlimited tokens for two hours of unlimited play. Holy Moly those kids played their little hearts out!

New Cakes

No birthday party is complete without a birthday cake and now Chuck E Cheese birthday cakes are even better with Funfetti cake and buttercream frosting. A Chuck E Cheese birthday cake can be added to any party package in your birthday star’s choice of chocolate or vanilla. We added a vanilla cake to this party, and there wasn’t a bite leftover before the kids ran off to play again.

Mom Tips for a Great Chuck E Cheese’s Birthday Party

Bonus Tokens – Want to pack even more fun into your Chuck E Cheese birthday party!? Chuck E Cheese offers a bonus 20 tokens if you book your party online (vs calling the store). You can score an additional 100 tokens when you book your party on a Friday or Sunday!

We earned both bonuses (120 tokens total) for booking our party online and on a Sunday. Since the kids had unlimited play on their cars, the adults had a chance to play with the 120 tokens. That allowed my husband to play all the Skee Ball he wanted! Parents can also enjoy the free WiFi and new menu items.

VIP Treatment – Want a big time with less chaos? Reserve a VIP party (first thing in the morning) to get the entire party area to yourself before the restaurant opens.

Keep Track of Tickets – I recommend asking your party host for some plastic bags to store tickets.
