Another school year has nearly ended. (Where do the days go?) After a year of preschool, I am so impressed with how far my daughter has come this year. Part of it is the challenge of trying to keep up with her big sister, but it is also thanks to a teacher who recognizes her desire to do more and gives her opportunities to learn. How do you thank the teachers who do so much for our kids each day? My daughter is going to say it with a Traceable Preschool Teacher Thank You Note.
Since day one of school Sissy has been tracing the letters, learning to write her ABCs. And she has become an expert at counting… well, at least up to 12. Poor 13 gets skipped, every time.
For teacher appreciation week my daughter is supposed to bring something for “Thoughtful Tuesday.” Suggestions included handwritten notes, cards or a picture of your little one. To highlight her new favorite skill – tracing letters – I made her a traceable preschool teacher thank you note as her thoughtful gift. She was so excited to “write” her teacher a note.
Traceable Preschool Teacher Thank You Note
Since I can’t personalize the teacher’s name for everyone, I am including two options. You can either download a version that says, “Dear Teacher” or just “Dear” and a blank space. If you choose the blank space, you can either make your own dots for your little to trace or have them practice writing their teacher’s name freehand.
You will notice that mine did not have dots for my daughter’s name because she has been working hard to write her name on her own. But you can also make your own dotted letters if you want.
