Cool Kids Off With An Easy And Wholesome Frozen Treat

When it is hot, hot, hot outside my kids crave something to cool them down. (Doesn’t everyone?) One of my favorite go-to snacks on a hot day is a frozen Yoplait Go-Gurt. They are easy to keep on hand, my kids love them and I feel good about handing them all of the goodness of yogurt in a frozen, cool-you-down form.

Frozen Go-Gurt Treat
Funny story, when my daughter was younger I had her convinced that frozen Go-Gurt was an ice pop dessert. Whenever her big sister wanted a frozen treat, my toddler go one too — but hers was only yogurt. Sadly, she grew out of that innocence. But both of my girls still love a frozen Go-Gurt for snack — it just doesn’t pass for “dessert.”

My kids love because it tastes good and mom loves Yoplait Go-Gurt because it has:

  • No high fructose corn syrup
  • A good source of calcium and vitamin D
  • Natural colors and flavors

Double Duty Go-Gurt

As the kids head back to school, Go-Gurt has a great double-duty use. Pop a frozen Go-Gurt in your student’s lunch box to serve as an ice pack chilling off the rest of lunch cool as it thaws. By lunch your kiddo will have slurpable yogurt (no spoon required) and lunch will be cool. It is the perfect solution for brown bag field trip days when kids can’t bring a lunch box and have to throw away everything they bring

Other Yoplait yogurts make for a great snack any time of the day too like my Frozen Yogurt Covered Strawberries. You can find even more great snack ideas from other bloggers on the Walmart’s Yoplait site.

Bonus! Yoplait Go-Gurt boxes have Box Tops for Education!

You can find Go-Gurt at your local Walmart in the dairy aisle.

What is you go-to snack to help you cool down when the temperatures are hot?
