Everyone knows that yogurt and fruit are the perfect pairing. But when you freeze fruit and yogurt it suddenly becomes a special treat, which is why Frozen Yogurt Covered Strawberries are my daughters’ new favorite snack. The best part is this super healthy snack is sweet and delicious, which makes it feel like an indulgent treat. And who doesn’t need something sweet that is actually healthy?!
In fact frozen yogurt covered strawberries are so sweet, I was able to pass them off as dessert the first time I made them! Of course, now that they have been served as snacks the dessert trick is over, but it was good while it lasted.

Frozen Yogurt Covered Strawberries
Ingredients
- Your choice of Yoplait Yogurt
- Strawberries

The good news is that you really you can’t go wrong with either Yoplait Original or Greek, so pick your pleasure.
Directions
Clean, hull and dry strawberries. Then dip your strawberries into the yogurt and place on a Silpat or wax-lined tray (one that will fit in your freezer).
Optional – After about an hour, dip the strawberries in Yoplait yogurt a second time for a thicker layer of frozen yogurt. (I dipped all of my strawberries twice.)
Allow strawberries to fully freeze for 2-3 hours.

Frozen yogurt covered strawberries are such a yummy summer treat that now I want to try other fruit! I am certain frozen yogurt covered blueberries would also be fabulous, and perhaps even frozen yogurt covered raspberries. Oh, and bananas! I want to cover all the fruit in yogurt and freeze it.
Which Yoplait yogurt will you use?
