American Girl Truly Me!

American Girl has always celebrated girls from different time periods and backgrounds, and now with the rebranding of the My American Girl Dolls to be the “Truly Me,” American Girl is continuing its mission to celebrate every girl. Unlike Beforever American Girls who come with their own story, the American Girl Truly Me Dolls can be anything a girl wants them to be. 

Every girl is unique and special in her own way, and to celebrate the launch of the American Girl Truly Me campaign, American Girl sent my daughter one of the new American Girl Truly Me Dolls and invited her to show off what makes her “Truly Me” on the American Girl Instagram page. Always up for anything American Girl, K was thrilled to share her favorite traits.

American Girl Truly Me Dolls

The launch of the American Girl Truly Me line comes with all new outfits and 40 different combinations of eye color, hair color and style, and skin color. 

Instead of a book, each American Girl Truly Me doll will now come with exclusive play-based content directly in the doll box (48+ ideas for girls to do with their dolls). In addition to the activities that come with the dolls, there is a new free digital play experience online where girls can play games and activities that help them express what makes them Truly Me.

Truly AwesoME Sweepstakes

American Girl is hosting a 12-week Truly AwesoME Sweepstakes with offers weekly Truly Me prizes. The sweepstakes runs through August 12, and girls ages 8-13 can enter once a week for a chance to win a Truly Me prize package. The prizes change each Thursday, so be sure to have your girl check back every week to enter for the new prize.
