Where Do You Find Joy? ~ Giveaway

This is my favorite time of year. Sure it can be crazy and chaotic, but it is also beautiful and joyous. It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle, but if you blink the most wonderful time of the year will be over. So I am taking a stand to take the next few weeks to relax and enjoy my favorite time of year with my favorite people.

This is a sponsored post.

This month I am focusing on finding my joy. So what brings me joy?

More than anything else, my family brings me great joy. Even on the craziest days, they ground me. Not just in that special way a toddler can ground you by sneezing in your face, but with their love and their smiles.

The Suburban Mom Disney Cruise
If it was socially acceptable, I would leave my Christmas tree up year-round. I love sitting on the couch with my favorite people-watching Christmas movies by the light of the Christmas tree. Actually, everything is better by the light of the tree — even working!

Christmas Tree Bokeh
I recently took a “big girl” trip and checked off a bucket-list item, seeing Rockefeller Center at Christmas. I love to travel, but honestly, my favorite part of the trip was coming home to squeals of delight from my girls who missed their mom. The joy in those smiles – oh it warms my heart!

The Suburban Mom NYC
When I slip and I forget to find my joy, the quickest way to find it again is to quietly watch my girls play. They find such joy in the smallest moments, how can one not smile when watching them play?

Toddler Playtime
There are so many places to find joy, it is important to remember to stop and enjoy it.
