The summer is winding down, but it is still hot, hot, hot. Perhaps you are in the mood for a after-diner drink to cool you down, or maybe you are planning a girls night and want to impress — either way the Café Mocha Martini is sweet concoction could pass as desert.

Café Mocha Martini
Pretty, delicious and oh-so-easy to create. Just two ingredients shaken over ice, a chocolate drizzle and you have a recipe to impress.
Ingredients
- 2 oz International Delight Mocha Iced Coffee
- 1 oz Vanilla Vodka
- Chocolate syrup
Combine iced coffee and vodka and shake vigorously over ice.
Drizzle chocolate syrup in a glass and pour martini. Garnish with a strawberry and coffee beans (optional) before serving.

Sigh. Somewhere in this house we have a nice martini shaker that was a wedding gift. But I can’t seem to find it anywhere. So, in a pinch — sippy cups work. Just remember to rinse and wash well before the kids wake up!

For friends who do not part-take in adult beverages, serve them International Delight Mocha Iced Coffee straight over a chocolate drizzle. Sure it’s just ice coffee then, but if you serve it in a martini glass with the drizzle everyone will look fancy. Next week I will be hosting a book club meeting, and I will be serving both versions to my guests.
If you want to really get fancy with your martini, make DIY Coffee Ice Cubes a head of time so you don’t water down your martinis. And gather materials so everyone can make a DIY “All You Need Is Love And Good Coffee” Canvas Sign — everyone loves a good craft on girls night!
There you have it. Who is in the mood for a Café Mocha Martini? (It’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right?)
Before your next girls’ night (or dinner party) pick up some International Delight Mocha Iced Coffee. You can sip on ice coffee while prepping for your guests, and later serve up Café Mocha Martinis for everyone.
