I had grand plans to make an elaborate gift for my daughter’s Kindergarten teacher, but I have run out of time. (I am sure you know how that goes.) So I decided to do something simple that is bound to be appreciated.
Every teacher needs hand sanitizer, right?
After removing the label from the bottle of hand sanitizer (purchased on sale for $1) with some Goo Gone (love that stuff), it was time to decorate.
I used my Cricut to cut vinyl letters. For those who have a Cricut, I used the Italic Monoline font from the Lyrical Letters Cartridge. (Lyrical Letters has six fonts on it and is one of my favorite cartridges – I used it all of the time). I used 1/2 inch letters. Then I added a simple bow.
For those who don’t have a Cricut, you can easily create the same effect with letter stickers.
Total out-of-pocket cost for me $1 because I had everything else on hand already. Total project time, 15 minutes.
Simple, yet nice.
Happy back to school!
I like this idea ,good job .
I LOVE this idea! I’m actually going to include this in gift baskets for the kids’s teachers at Christmas time this year. Thanks so much for sharing! 🙂
