Raise your hand if the Olympics are on the TV in your house nearly around the clock – ME! I love watching the Olympics. From the events highlighted in prime time to the smaller events held mid day, I love the excitement so much I keep it on in the background most of the day.
If you watch the Olympics as much as I do you are bound to see Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s new commercial “Thanks to America.” which will run throughout the games. The commercial details Enterprise’s 50 Million Tree Pledge in which the company pledges to plant 1 million trees each year for the next 50 years. It is the car company’s way of saying thank you to their customers by giving back to the community.
Enterprise made the 50 Million Tree Pledge back in 2007 and in 2011 the company planted its 6 millionth tree.
Now the company is inviting you to join in saying thank you to someone in your life by dedicating a virtual tree through it’s Facebook app. I dedicated my virtual tree to my husband who puts up with me and supports me in everything I do!
In case you are on a potty break when the commercial airs, here it is:
