Regal Summer Movie Express 2019 $1 Movie Schedule

The 2019 Regal Summer Movie $1 movie schedule has arrived! This is one of my family’s favorite things to do every summer. It’s a great way to get out of the heat for just $1, plus it’s a lot of fun to do with friends. This summer’s lineup includes tons of great movies like: How To Train Your Dragon (movies 1 – 3), several LEGO movies, and movies from the Despicable Me series.

Check here for the 2021 Regal Summer Movie Express schedule.

Regal $1 Summer Movies 2019

If The Regal Summer Movie Express, the $1 movies start at 10 am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week during the summer. Two movies are shown on each week and both movies are played both days. So you can go on Tuesday or Wednesday or both to see your pick of movies.

If you have little ones, this is the perfect opportunity to take them to the theater for the first time. My oldest enjoyed her first movie theater movies during this program because for $1, it’s no big deal if you have to leave.

When do the Regal Summer Movie Express movies start?

Unfortunately, there isn’t a uniform start date. Theater start dates vary based on location. (Some start June 4 others start as late as June 25, my guess is that start dates are related to when kids get out of school in your area.)

Find your closest participating movie theater, to find out when the $1 movies start in your town and learn more about the Regal Summer Movie Express program.

The Regal Summer Movie Express also varies in length from 9 to 14 weeks long depending on your area. Therefore, the weekly line up varies based on location. The line up below is what I found for Florida, but you need to check your local theater to see what’s playing and when in your area.

My kids are going to be so excited when I tell them the Regal Summer Movie Express includes House With A Clock In Its Walls. We missed it in the theaters and the kids keep asking to see it. I’m marking my calendar now.

Not only is the Regal Summer Express fun (and cheap) summer entertainment, a portion of the proceeds benefits the Will Rodgers Institute.

Which dollar movie are you looking forward to taking your kids to see this summer?

  1. This is the first place I’ve been able to find a start time for these movies! Thank you!

Showcase Cinemas also has a summer movie program for kids called Bookworm Wednesdays!
“A fun and rewarding summer reading program developed to encourage young children to read during the summer months, Bookworm Wednesdays entitles kids to free admission to a select children’s film when they present a book report at a participating Cinema de Lux, Showcase, or Multiplex Cinemas box office.

Accompanying parents or guardians and children under six years of age receive free admission and do not need to submit a book report.”

    • I always recommend contacting your local theater ahead of time. Different theaters have different show times and offerings.
