I am raising three mini fashionistas. They love new clothes, almost as much as their mom. While they still agree on many things, they defiantly have their own style, which makes hand-me-downs tricky. Because they always seem to be out growing their clothes, I am always on the hunt for cute clothes for kids at affordable prices. That’s why clothes for kids at BJ’s Wholesale Club are a great way to stay on budget and the kids wardrobe printable helps keep me organized.
This post is part of a sponsored series by BJ’s Wholesale Club. Check out the great Betsy Johnson twirl skirt I found for my daughter on our last shopping trip. #BJsSmartSaver
Clothes For Kids
While shopping for last-minute supplies for my daughter’s birthday party at BJ’s we made one of our regular stops in the clothing department. BJ’s offers a large selection of apparel separates for school-aged kids, with sizes ranging from 7-14 for girls and 8-20 for boys. From dresses and shorts to polos and footwear, BJ’s offers an exciting selection of kids’ apparel so members can find something to delight everyone
On this visit, all three of my daughters scored. And that is no small feat considering that I have a tween, a little kid and a baby to please. (Also, let’s marvel at all three girls looking at the camera.)
Coupons For Clothes
BJ’s makes it easy to save money, you can dress the whole family without breaking the bank with BJ’s unbeatable value and expanded assortment of kids’ apparel. In addition to already low prices, BJ’s offers tons of great coupons. The day we went shopping two of the clothes my girls picked out had instant clipless coupons. One item had a $4 clipless coupon and another a $2 clipless coupon. We didn’t have to do anything but purchase the clothes like normal and the coupon automatically applied.
In addition to in-store savings, we also brought a $5 off any apparel item coupon that came in the mail. We also had a $2 off produce and $2 off any garbage bags coupons that we used to stock up for the party.
If you haven’t yet signed up for a BJ’s membership, now is a great time. When you sign up using my link here, you’ll receive a free $25 gift card just for becoming a member. (Full disclosure, I will earn one too.) After you sign up, you can also create a refer a friend link so you and a friend can each get a $25 gift card when they sign up too.
Kids Wardrobe Inventory Printable
Managing three little girls’ closets, plus my own, can be overwhelming. Someone is always outgrowing or staining something and needing replacements. From worn out sneakers to pants that get too short, keeping track of it all keeps me on my toes. Several times a year — usually the start of summer, start of school and start of winter — I take everything out of the closets and drawers to take inventory and see what’s what.
After dividing clothes into keep, save and donate piles I make a list of what is needed to fill in what has been taken out. This year, to keep organized I created a kids wardrobe printable. Filling this out helps keep me on track and remind me of what each girl really needs. Of course, I reserve the right to go off script, but this way I know the basics are always covered.

Clothes for Tweens
My tween is starting to look for more grown-up looking clothes, and she loves shirts with positive messages. So she instantly spotted this shirt with lace detail and a power message in gold. It is right up her alley and a perfect shirt for school, especially for only $5.99.
My little mermaid spotted this hoodie as soon as we walked up to the clothing area. Of course, she owns several hoodies already, but she wears one to school everyday and I love her love for mermaids. So another hoodie it was. This one is from PS By Aeropostale and was only $8.99 after the instant, clipless coupon.
Sissy is a big fan of pull-on shorts. (That’s a nice way of saying that she refused anything with zippers for years.) These Reebok shorts ($9.99) and pink Rebook athletic shirt ($7.99) are a great summer staple and her idea of comfort.
I admit, this shirt was a little more me than Sissy, but I talked her into it by telling her it was very “teenagery.” That’s Sissy’s new word. She wants to be a teenager — she is 6 — and she wants to wear teenagery things. (Insert eyeroll here.) Luckily, she doesn’t really have a concept of what teenagers wear, so it is her own version and sometimes I can convince her of my version, sometimes. I think this shirt was a win.
Baby Girls Clothes
Of course, P is the easiest of the girls to please. For that reason, she also has an exploding closet full of clothes. But she’s just so cute, and I can’t resist her in a little romper. And to make it even cuter, she carried the romper around BJ’s on the rest of our shopping trip. She made everyone at BJ’s smile as she wandered up and down the aisles carrying it. (I shared a picture of her wandering around with it on my Instastory, another cute reason to follow me on Instagram.)
