Dairy Free Tropical Smoothie

With the new baby coming (any day now!), I find myself searching for ideas to get more fruit and plant-based foods in my diet quickly and easily. Goodness knows I will need quick snacks and meals to keep me going during the first few months of breastfeeding. Smoothies are one of my favorite solutions, and the newest smoothie in my lineup is a Dairy Free Tropical Smoothie.

Dairy Free Tropical Smoothie

This Dairy Free Tropical Smoothie is sponsored by Silk and So Delicious.

I’ll tell you right now, I have a major sweet tooth. So this recipe is perfect for me. It is more like a dessert smoothie since it includes So Delicious Coconut Milk frozen dessert (aka dairy-free ice cream), but we all needs a sweet treat now and again. And I especially think nursing moms need a treat. Plus check out all of the healthy stuff it has in it too. Yum!

Dairy Free Tropical Smoothie

2 ripe bananas
8 large strawberries
12 oz. pineapple, fresh preferred

Directions:

Cut the fruit into bite size chunks for easy blending.

If you haven’t visited Kroger’s Natural Foods Department, it’s a great place to stock up on natural products like Silk and So Delicious. I found everything needed for this smoothie at Kroger and love the idea of finding all of the natural foods in one location.

Before you go shopping, be sure to visit the Silk and So Delicious websites where you can sign up to receive coupons to save money on this tropical smoothie recipe!
