Hippity Hoppity Easter is on its way! That means it is time to start thinking about filling those Easter baskets with sweet treats for your mini egg hunters. Each year my girls set out their baskets for the Easter Bunny to fill with their favorite sweet treats and small toys. Last year, in addition to special basket treats the Easter Bunny started a new tradition for the Easter Egg fillers — Easter egg coupons.

Funny story about Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bunny. I always get myself a chocolate Easter Bunny, it isn’t Easter without my special treat. But I’ve never bought one for the kids *gasp.* No particular reason, it was just my treat. Well, last year I got in trouble with my girls who wanted their own Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bunny, and I promised them never again. So chocolate bunnies for everyone!

Easter Basket Ideas
I love filling my daughter’s baskets with things that reflect what they are really into right now. It’s fun to look back at past Easter baskets to see what they were into. Interestingly, I think this will be the first year of nearly identical baskets because this year they are into all of the same things.
Mom tip – I invested in coordinating Pottery Barn Easter baskets, and now the baskets are part of the Easter tradition. I never have to buy another basket, and the girls welcome the sight of their special basket each year.
This year’s Easter basket includes:
- Reese’s Peanut Butter Filled Giant Chocolate Bunny
- Books
- Cadbury Crème Egg Candy
- Small stuffed animals
- Small toys
- Reese’s Pieces Carrot
- Hershey’s Miniatures
- Hershey’s Candy Coated Milk Chocolate Eggs
- Small plush animals
