I was in Target (again) last week, and I spotted my favorite Halloween movie of all time on the shelf — Hocus Pocus. And then (gasp) I realized that my daughters have never seen it. How did I let that happen? Then I started thinking about all of the other great Halloween movies for kids, and I realized how few we have actually seen. Since I love Halloween, I made plans to rectify the situation.
Discovering it was several dollars cheaper on Amazon (sorry Target), I placed an order and this weekend I will share my favorite Halloween movie with my girls. I have a feeling “amock, amock, amock” is about to become the new family catchphrase!
31 Kids Halloween Movies
In no particular order, here are 31 kids Halloween movies every kid should see. Including several of my personal favorites! (BTW if you don’t want to own them all, some of these are available to rent on Amazon.) Movie recommendations are for all ages unless noted for older children (my personal recommendation).
Note, the list started with 31 movies when I wrote it, but some of our favorites now have sequels. So It’s only a list of the 31 one best if you consider the sequels as one movie total. More is better, right?
