Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe

tsm 2

When it comes to pot luck parties, my favorite contribution is a cheese dip. My old standard is Granny’s Dip, a cream cheese and olive dip that my Granny always made, but I now have a new favorite dip to share at parties – Buffalo Chicken Dip.

Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe
I have to thank Mr. and Mrs. Ack for introducing me to the deliciousness and sharing their Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe. I might have hounded them a little bit for the recipe because ever since they served it a party, I haven’t stopped thinking about it. So you have them to thank for this yummy dip!

If you like buffalo sauce, chicken and cheese, this is the ultimate dip for you. Because, yum!

Did I mention, it is crazy easy to make! So easy, the recipe came to me in the form of two text messages. You are going to thank me next time you need to bring a dish to a party because for very little work, your Buffalo Chicken Dip will be the hit of the party.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Spread softened cream cheese evenly along the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish.

(Tip, if your cream cheese isn’t softened, cube the cream cheese to soften it quicker.)

Drain the canned chicken.

In a medium bowl, mix the chicken and buffalo sauce. Spread the mixture on top of the cream cheese.

Drizzle your choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing over the buffalo chicken and gently spread it out.

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over everything and put it in the oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese starts to bubble and turn brown along the edges.

BTW – If you happen to have any leftovers, this Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe is just as good cold as it is hot.

I can’t use canned chicken too gross! But it works well with cooked chicken or rotisserie
