What’s Your Wish?

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPS. All opinions are 100% mine.

Last month, I shared information about the Wishes Delivered campaign with UPS and how you can share your wish the #WishesDelivered hashtag. Sharing a selfless wish on your social media channels not only spreads a little holiday magic and good cheer, but for every wish made UPS will donate $1 to one of its charity partners (Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, or Toys for Tots) up to $100,000!

My wish is that no child goes hungry and that every child is able to experience joy this holiday season.

As I think about my daughters happily opening their gifts for the holidays, it breaks my heart that other children will not only have no gifts to open — they will also be hungry.

My family has adopted a family this holiday season (and I will share more about our story soon), and we regularly contribute to a monthly drive at my daughter’s school to support a nearby school. Each month as a different theme (socks and underwear, toiletries, food, etc.), and with each donation we talk to our girls about why it is important to give back to our community through programs like this.

Even if you can’t give back right now, you can take a moment to take part in the #WishesDelivered campaign simply by sharing your wish.

#WishesDelivered

Through December 31, 2014 wishes made with the #WishesDelivered hashtag on Twitter or Instagram will automatically generate a $1 donation by UPS. Or you can go directly to the #WishesDelivered site  and submit your wish there.

What’s your wish? Share it with the world using the #WishesDelivered hashtag and in the comments below, I’d love to read them!

Let me end this post with something to make you smile, watch this video to see one little boy’s big wish come true.
