The Epiphanie Clover: A Camera Bag, Laptop Bag And Purse In One ~ Giveaway

tsm 2

I am a tech and photo junkie. Whether I am traveling across country or across town, if I am leaving the convenience of my home for more than a few hours, packing all of my tech is a must. I do not often leave home without at least one camera and either a tablet or a laptop. I just don’t. I might need to photograph something or do some work — ya never know.

You know that two bag carry-on limit for planes? Yep, I used to regularly break that rule with my roll on, laptop bag, camera and purse. Why yes, it would fit inside if I tried, I just need it on the plane so I took it out. Right… (I am such a rebel!) But not any more. I found one bag to replace my laptop bag, camera bag and purse — one bag. The Epiphanie Clover

Why Epiphanie Bags

Here’s the thing about camera bags. I had this backward notion that they were all ugly. No offense to my husband, but when I needed a camera bag he went out and bought me a Lowepro. Now, Lowepro bags are fantastically functional. And every (male) professional photographer he knows carries them. But they are solid black and bulky. I wanted color and sleek. Not to mention that there is no place for my stuff in the Lowepro, just my camera equipment.

Google searching lead me to Epiphanie, and after taking my new Epiphanie Clover bag on two plane trips and countless day trips I am hooked. I even know which Epiphanie bag I want next because I totally want an army of Epiphanie bags for different occasions/outfits!

Designed by a female photographer, Epiphanie bags are designed to look like a beautiful purse with the protection of a traditional camera bag. Available in a variety of styles and bright colors they are beautiful bags that happen to hold everything I need, while keeping it safe.

Pretty and functional – a perfect combo!

Meet the Epiphanie Clover

While there are a number of styles and designs to choose from, the Clover won me over when I realized that it was big enough to carry my 15 inch Macbook Pro along with my Nikon DSLR and more. No more laptop bag and purse (with my camera shoved in), the Clover holds everything I need.

Another reason I selected the Epiphanie Clover is that I rarely zip my bags, I like to leave them open for easy access. When the Clover is standing upright, you can’t see in unless you are looking straight down, this prevents strangers from knowing that I am carrying a lot of expensive equipment. I just looks like a big bag.

Full of flexibility, the dividers inside the bag are velcro so they can be removed and repositioned to fit your stuff. Because I generally only travel with one additional lens, I usually keep one of the inserts at home. Customizing the bag for my needs.

What’s Inside My Epiphanie Clover?

I am a compulsive over packer who cannot stand to get somewhere and realized I don’t have something I need. I adore the Epiphanie Clover because it has room for everything. Let’s look inside my bag from a recent trip.

Epiphanie Bag Clover What's in My Bag
Whew! That’s a lot in one bag. And yes, it is rather heavy when packed like this, but so were the three bags I used to carry. To help with weight distribution, the Clover can either be carried like a purse with wide, braided straps or messenger bag style with a padded shoulder strap. In the airport, it can also be set (carefully) on top of a roller bag.

Even packed to the brim with everything I could possibly need (and then some). The Epiphanie Clover is cute and stylish – I lost track of the number of compliments I received on the bag both from those who knew it’s functionality and random strangers in the airport who just liked the look of the bag.

Epiphanie Stylish Camera Bag
I love everything about my Epiphanie Clover bag and everything that fits inside it! I mentioned already thinking about my next bag not because I want to replace this beauty, but it would be nice to have something a bit smaller for when I only need my iPad with me. The Stella in pink and the Charlotte in metallic chevron are my top two choices.

If you are in the market for a camera/laptop bag/purse in one, the Epiphanie Clover is a must. (And oh my gosh, how cute is the camera key chain – also from Epiphanie!)

  1. That is a hard decision! I like quite a few of them. The AUSTIN and the GINGER as well as the LONDON. I guess it depends on which one was in stock. I LOVE THEM ALL!

  2. Oh my word I LOVE this bag! I would get this exact one, same color and everything. My husband just got me a Nikon for my birthday and I need a safe (& stylish) way to transport it!

  3. I LOVE the Stella and the Ginger and the Madison (which is out of stock?!) I’ve long coveted an Epiphanie bag and passed up a chance to get one for under $100 last year and kick myself for passing it up …. 🙁

  4. I don’t know what’s up but I am trying to comment on the pumpkin post and it won’t let me. I think it wants me to get an act from congress first.

  5. I really like the STELLA – Slate Blue bag. A lot of the bags that I really like are out of stock, probably because they are very cute!

  6. Tough choice! I think the clover in red (or maybe black), followed closely by the madison in turquoise, are my favorites. So many cute styles, I wish I would’ve known about them before my husband bought a boring black bag for my Nikon (it’s the thought and all, but still.)

  8. It figures most of the bags I love are Sold Out. I must have good taste. I love the Lola, Austin and London and they are all sold out. My 4th choice would be Lola Pink. Epiphanie needs to get more stock in. Christmas is coming. Apparently everyone prefers the browns and blacks.

Thanks for the giveaway, I’ll be keeping my eye out on Epiphanie. I hope they get more stock in soon. I love finding new (to me) places to shop.

  9. So many are out of stock, I wonder if that would limit the options because there are some great choices! I really like the backpacks but if I couldn’t do that, I’d probably do the ginger slate.
