I have to admit, when this game first arrive I wondered who designed this thing? Why doesn’t it come in a box that I can store on the shelf with the rest of the games. (Apparently, I completely missed the “Storage Bag Included” bandage on the package.) Then when I opened it up, I took it all back when I realized the entire game stores nicely in the Doc’s medical bag! So cute. Now, I still think I need a Ziplock baggie to keep the little pieces from falling out of Docs bag, but really cute design.
Back to the game.
The game is a combination of memory and pretend play. Players take turns spinning the wheel to either receive a boo-boo or perform a check-up on another player. On the back of each slap bracelet bandage is a mystery ouchie and players must figure out which tool will make things better.
The game is simple enough for preschool play, and I like that it incorporates open-ended pretend play in the game. The game pieces are the best part of the game, and I have a feeling that many check-ups will be performed even without playing the game.

Great Gift For: Preschool aged children (ages 3+) who love playing check-up with Doc McStuffins. Even though the memory portion f this game is a bit beyond my two year old, I plan to give this to my daughter for Christmas. I know she will love pretending with it, and in time she will “get” the game too.
