Corral Those Christmas Gifts With The ToyTainer ~ Giveaway

TSM-PPEven while I am up to my elbows in wrapping gifts, I am already dreading December 26. I am super excited to live vicariously though the eyes of my children and share their joy in opening gifts galore. But oh my goodness, where will they all go?!?!

Storage is already at max capacity in this house, and I am not gonna sugar coat it — the playroom is ready to burst at the seams.

What to do with all of those toys?

There’s a new solution that might just be as fun for your kids as it is for practical for mom. Let’s face it, cleaning up your toys isn’t much fun when you are a kid (or when you are a mom for that matter). What if cleaning up could be part of play time fun? A toy and storage in one – that’s the idea behind the new ToyTainer

ToyTainer EZ-Mat

A new line of storage containers designed with mom and kids in mind. The storage mom needs disguised as toys kids love. Available exclusively at Target, the toy storage line includes:

  • Shoe Box Play N’ Store
  • EZ-Mat Play N’ Store
  • Truck Play N’ Store
  • Arcade Grab N’ Store
  • Hanging Fold N’ Store

Each storage system comes in various styles for boys and girls – 12 storage options total.

My favorite ToyTainer is the Shoe Box Play N’ Store. The size of, well a shoe box, in the version we received a flap opens to reveal a castle and woodland scene to play on. It’s perfect for small toys like My Little Ponies or Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Complete with pop-up trees, the scene includes snaking roads and a river that lead up to a castle. At the base of the castle, a hole leads inside the container. It is a mat designed to encourage pretend play, and when play time is finished the toys can march into the shoebox and the clever scene wraps around the box closing with a Velcro flap. And with a handle on top, the box can easily be carried to and stored on a shelf.

Variations of the Shoe Box Play N’ Store include a city scene and farm.

Similar to the Shoebox Storage, the EZ-Mat Play N’ Store creates a larger scene for kids to play on. When playtime is over, just pull the strings and the mat turns into a sack.

ToyTainers are the storage solution that works with playtime instead of against it teaching and encouraging kids to clean up their toys as part of playtime.

While the products are geared toward children ages 3+, I am currently training my two year old to pick up her toys so I know she would also benefit from some of the ToyTainers (especially the shoebox one).
