Earn Rewards Toward Your Dream Road Trip Faster With Plus Your Points

This post brought to you by Enterprise Rent-A-Car. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the one I dream about every year.

Forget white, most years our Florida Christmases are green — even in the ’80s. Don’t get me wrong, I am not a cold-weather girl, I have no interest in living where it snows. But a white Christmas — just once — would be magical.

And this year, my five year old has started begging to see snow so a white winter is on the mind.

White Christmas

Last year, a local friend packed up her kids  in the car and drove north to see snow on a whim. I was in awe of her spontaneity, I would love to do that — just drive until we find snow. What a great memory for the kids. What a great memory for me!

I can’t remember how far they went to find snow, but if we were to take a trip like that the planner in me would want to rent a bigger vehicle. One with TVs (hello long drive), one set up for driving in the snow (not that we would drive in a blizzard, but still), maybe even a hybrid to help with those gas miles.

We’d want to go far enough to build a snowman, even if it was just a little guy.

This winter, Enterprise Rent-A-Car wants to help drivers earn free rentals faster with the annual “Plus Your Points” promotion through its Enterprise Plus Loyalty Program. The “Plus Your Points” promotion runs through March 31, 2014 and gives drivers even more ways to earn points faster.

Some of the ways customers can earn bonus points during the Plus Your Points promotion include:

  • Purchase a qualifying rental (double your points)
  • add a GPS unit as part of your qualifying rental (earn 50 bonus points)
  • Share the qualifying “Plus Your Points message on Twitter (earn 20 bonus points)
  • Refer a friend into the “Plus Your Points” promotion, who subsequently rents with Enterprise once during the promotion earning period (earn 300 points)

Points earned in the program do not expire as long as you rent a car at least once every two years and there are no blackout dates.

If you are not already a member, now is a great time to sign up. Once you enroll (for free), you will automatically be able to start earning bonus points through the “Plus Your Points” promotion. Check out the Enterprise Plus Your Points promotion website for more details and to enroll in the program. Enterprise also hopes you will “Follow us on Facebook” to keep up to date with the latest programs.

So how will this program help with my snow dreams? By getting my husband to book Enterprise when he rents a car for work trips. It may not happen this year, but there will be snow next year too.

  1. love that snowman – we lived in AZ and had the luxury of living in light jacket weather and being able to drive the kids to snow in less than an hour

  4. Having read this post on a day here in Columbus,Ohio where we are colder than Fairbanks, Alaska at -7 degree Fahrenheit and a windchill of -32 and very little snow on the ground I wish I lived a little farther south! hahaha
I do like the little snowman though as it reminds me of the last snowman my granddaughters (ages 7 and 9) made. It was about 12 inches high and they were so proud of it as was I.

  5. It seems like a lot of companies have these rewards cards. I did not know that Enterprise had them, until I read your review. This is much needed information because we are planning to take a trip real soon. Thanks for sharing this awesome review.
