Back To School With Gymboree – Which Is Your Favorite Look?

I’ve been a loyal Gymboree fan since I purchased my daughter’s first outfit there when she was a baby. So it comes as no surprise that when it is time to shop for back-to-school clothing, the first place I head to is Gymboree.

As usual, there is a lot to love at Gymboree. Clearly, I fell in love with the “Brightest in Class” line.  But I have to point out that the back-to-school line wasn’t designed with Florida’s back to school. We start school August 12, and it is 90+ degrees outside! Most of my favorite pieces are long-sleeved, so I guess we are well-stocked for a Florida winter.

I should mention that even though the clothes K is wearing below are all from the brand-new line, we were able to pick them up 30% off during the current promo. All new items are 30% off and all sale items are an additional 20% off making for some awesome back-to-school deals!

K spotted a purple Dot Tiered dress that she fell in love with. Paired with Gymboree bike shorts and a Gymboree sweater (in case it is cold in her classroom), it’s the perfect dress for school or play. Can you tell my little princess loves this dress?

In addition to picking up a couple of pairs of jeans, K couldn’t take her eyes off this Glitter Sequin Peacock shirt. I love that Gymboree offers its jeans in regular, slim and plus. The slims fit K perfect, and allow me to go up a size so she can wear them longer.

Because K would be happy to wear a dress every day, I couldn’t pass up this double-sleeved, Sequin Flower Stripe dress. When paired with pink leggings, K decided it was perfect

And I don’t know what it is about this Gem Heart Striped Tunic and Skinny Ponte Pants, but doesn’t it make her look so grown up! No way that’s my baby girl. Too cute.

One more parting thought, my favorite thing about all of these pieces is that they are flexible and will work with things she already has in her closet. I’m always looking to expand her wardrobe from within.

  114. I like the leopard print outfits, pretty poppies outfits, the safari collection, pretty much any and all the collections at Gymboree are cute. I like the darker/busier print – you cant see as many stains. 🙂

  118. I would start with the classic straight jeans for boys (in Slim) and Short Sleeve Kayak Tee. After that I’d let my son pick them out. They’re so picky at this age! : )

  134. I too am a loyal fan of Gymboree. I feel like the ladies at my local Gymboree know me a little too well. But, it is all in good fun to dress my daughter like the beautiful princess she is. Love Gymboree.
