If you’re looking for a healthier snack alternative at the movie theaters, you’ll want to check out AMC Theatres new AMC Smart Moviesnacks. The $7 snack pack includes Chiquita Fruit Chips, an Odwalla Chocolate Chip Trail Mix bar, PopCorners all-natural air-popped corn chips, and a 20-oz bottle of Dasani purified water (you can choose a 20-oz Diet Coke or Coke Zero instead too). The new healthier option comes in at 453 calories and 11 grams of fat, which is considerably less than the 1,460 calories that a typical large movie popcorn alone contains. Certainly nice to see more options becoming available.
The new snack option should be available at all US AMC locations now.
