If you have a little shopper in your family, this game is for them. Chop & Zee Shopping Cart Dash is a fun game of shopping, but don’t forget to pay! It even comes with mini shopping carts.
How to play (simplified) – The object of the game is to collect one food item from each of 6 categories (fruits, veggies, meat/fish, dairy, drinks and treats) in your cart. The game is played along a track by rolling dice to move forward and collecting a food item form the corresponding color that you land on. But shoppers must remember to pay by putting their coins in the slot or they can’t take their food.
My thoughts – Such a cute game. The little shopping carts and food stand are adorable. But watch out LOTS of little pieces!!! Oh my keeping all of these pieces will be a challenge with a little one. After getting the game out and setting everything up, I decided that K is still too young for this game yet. (It says ages 3+, I think it really needs to be closer to 4 years old.) K will be 3 in March, but there are just too many rules to follow for her to remember and keep her attention. However, I think it her friend who is nearly 4 would LOVE the game. I also really like the educational elements of the game – counting, matching and colors. Since receiving this game, I have learned that there are a number of Chimp and Zee games, and I think when K gets a little older she will enjoy playing the series of games.
