5 Reasons To Give Photo Gifts

My photos are my most prized possessions, and while I rarely get 4×6 prints I love to create photo gifts. Sometimes, I even gift the photo gifts I make, but usually that’s only if I make two. LOL! My home is covered in photo canvases and other self-mounted photo displays — not to mention my annual family photo calendar. This post is sponsored by Walmart, but the love of photo gifts is my own.

Reasons To Give Photo Gifts

Several years ago I discovered how easy and affordable it is to make photo gifts at Walmart Photo Center. Since then Walmart has become my go-to store for last-minute photo gifts. There are tons of great gifts that are ready same day, some even within an hour — great for last-minute gift giving. And with as many photos as I take, it makes gift giving easy.

5 Reasons To Give Photo Gifts

Time – Time is a nasty beast. Kids grow up way to fast, as every parent knows, and photos are a beautiful way to stop time and capture a moment. Parents and grandparent will treasure a gift with a photo of their child/grandchild for years to come, especially when those kids aren’t so little any more.

Ease – Photo gifts don’t have to be made from professional photos (although you should absolutely turn those into gifts if you get them). Even a simple photo of a fun afternoon can capture a moment in time. If you have a photo that makes you smile, creating a gift is as easy as uploading it to Walmart’s Photo Center and choosing the right gift.

Canvas Photo Gift Idea

Affordability – Walmart’s Photo Center is full of affordable photo gifts. The 11×14 canvases I created are currently on Rollback for $24.96, but even at full price they are only $29.96. And with in-store pick up, you don’t even have to pay shipping. Other gift ideas include photo ornaments (only $10 through 1/3/17) and photo mugs ($10 through 1/3/17).

Last-Minute – Need a gift today, upload your photo and choose from Walmart’s many same-day and one-hour photo gift options. How about a gift people will look at daily like a photo calendar? Ready for pick up the day you order it, Walmart has photo calendars on Rollback for $10 through 1/3/17. (Normally $17.47.)

From the Heart – I love to give thoughtful gifts with meaning, and there is no gift that is more personal than a photo gift. Not only will it become part of the recipient’s decor, but it also preserves a moment in time — even if your gift doesn’t include kids. It is truly a special and unique gift, each and every time.

Photo Canvas Gift

All of the 11×14 canvases in this post hang in my house and were created at the Walmart Photo Center. I love to look at them and see how much my girls have grown up. The most recent one is the picture of the girls on the couch that I just got around to making from last year’s Christmas card pictures. Even in that one, they look so little to me!

At Walmart’s Photo Center you can even create photo cards (to show off those great family photos) and photo books. Whatever your gift giving needs this holiday season, Walmart Photo Center is ready. It’s fast, affordable and a great way to make memories last forever.

Who will you give a photo gift to this holiday season?

I too love pics and have many of my kids hanging on our walls. I haven’t given photos as a gift but love the idea. I think my dad would love getting a nice gift of pics of his grand kids.

I find that especially for grandparents and older folks photos are a great gift. It’s something personalized, meaningful and treasured. When my daughter was little we always got special pictures taken for our family members at Christmas. Those are still some of my favorite photos. I love your photo wall btw. Gonna steal your design 🙂

I love doing photo gifts – especially when it comes down to those hard to shop for people. You can never go wrong with something from the heart
