3 Reasons Floridians Should Visit Marion County

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Ocala/Marion County VCB for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

The kids are out of school and summer has finally reached full swing. If you are like me, you have a little voice in the back of your mind telling you not to let the summer get away from you. How many years have you turned around and suddenly it is early August and you ask yourself, “Where did the summer go? There were so many things we wanted to do this summer. What happened?”

As quick as it came, the summer is gone.

Sure, there are big trips that you and your family love to take. These vacations take a fair amount of time and money to execute and they are worth it. But we always forget about the small, mini-vacations, that are so much easier to plan and afford. These trips can provide great memories for you and your family at a much smaller cost than you probably realize.

Living in Florida, my family is lucky to have many options for weekend staycations. If you are looking for something outside of the usual tourist spots Ocala/Marion County is filled with activities for the whole family to make some warm summer memories.
