15-Minute Chicken Carbonara

Tuesday is dance day, and that means we don’t get home until nearly 6 pm. Dinner has to be quick because there are still showers to take and homework to be done before bed. My newest solution to the dance-day rush is 15-Minute Chicken Carbonara from Tyson® Meal Kits.

15-Minute Chicken Carbonara
Not only does meal prep have to be quick, my kids need to like it so they eat it quick and clean up needs to be easy too. Because who wants to clean too many dishes anyway? The three cheese chicken carbonara Tyson® Meal Kit fits all of the requirements.

15-Minute Chicken Carbonara

All of the fresh ingredients you need to make the meal are included in the package. Fresh chicken (not frozen), freshly cooked pasta and sauce. All you have to do to prep the meal is brown the chicken and then add the pasta and sauce until heated thoroughly — all in one skillet. Easy and quick, and the result is a meal the whole family loves.

In our house we pair a veggie with every meal. For this one-skillet meal frozen peas were the perfect choice. I just added a cup of frozen peas (still frozen) to the skillet along with the pasta and sauce. Nothing extra to prepare, and then we had a green veggie too.

Tyson® Meal Kits come in a variety of meals, including three slow cooker options. Next time I want to try a slow cooker meal — the included veggies have been washed and chopped so just dump and cook.

Tyson® Meal Kits are located in the ready to cook section of the fresh meat case at Publix. If you don’t see them, ask the folks at the meat counter. At my Publix they are great about special ordering something you need.
