I am not a morning person, so anything I can do to make our mornings easier is great by me. Even though both of my girls know what they are supposed to do to get ready in the morning, it seems like every morning they forget what they need to do next. So I created a morning checklist for kids printable to help gently remind them of what to do next — instead of mom hollering from the other room.

It seems so basic to me, but kids love to check things off a list (so do I for that matter). So at least for now, this new morning checklist has them rushing from one chore to the next so they can fill in those checkmarks.
Score one for mom!
To make your own checklist, download the printable here. Then put it in a frame and use any washable marker on the class to check off each item. Or use contact paper to laminate.

Jimmy Dean Breakfast
Another thing that helps our morning routine run smoothly is a yummy breakfast my kids love. Taking after their dad, my girls love breakfast sandwiches. And I love Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches because, once again, I am not a morning person so this is the perfect level of morning cooking. With the help of Jimmy Dean® breakfast is quick, easy and hearty fuel for school.
K tells me the Jimmy Dean® Sausage Egg and Cheese Croissant is her favorite, but she is happy to eat the Jimmy Dean® Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuit too. Baby sister loves them all.
Which is your favorite Jimmy Dean breakfast?
