For gamers the Disney Interactive panel was the place to be at the D23 Expo with huge announcements for Kingdom Hearts 3, Disney Infinity 3.0, Playmation, Star Wars Battlefront and more. There is so much great stuff coming from these big games in the next few months — something for everyone.

Kingdom Hearts 3
In Kingdom Hearts 3 players are immersed in various Disney worlds, and at the D23 Expo the big announcement was that Kingdom Hearts 3 will not only feature a world based on Tangled but also a world based on Big Hero 6. That’s right, Baymax is coming to Kingdom Hearts 3.
Another exciting announcement for Kingdom Hearts 3 is that all Keyblades will have transformations.

Disney Magic Kingdoms Mobile App
I was really excited to learn about the Disney Magic Kingdoms mobile app from Disney Interactive that will allow gamers to create their own Disney theme park. Starting with the castle players will be able to add and customize their favorite attractions like Space Mountain, Astro Orbiter, California Screamin, Princess Fairytale Hall, the Haunted Mansion and more. Characters in the game will include Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, Buzz Lightyear, Mike Wazowski, Maleficent, Emperor Zurg, Mother Gothel and more.
My girls haven’t yet gotten into the work of game systems, but they are all about mobile games. The mobile game will be coming soon to iOS and Android devices.

Playmation
Disney’s newest gaming concept Playmation was also introduced to D23 Expo attendees. The new hybrid game combines high-tech play with imagination to get kids up and moving while they play. I had a chance to check out the gear up close and personal earlier at the D23 Expo, and I previously shared why Playmation will be a hot toy this Christmas.

Star Wars: Battlefront
Star Wars ruled the Disney Interactive Panel with tons of great announcements for new ways gamers can delve into the Star Wars galaxy. This November, gamers can join rebel forces in the fight against the Empire in the new Star Wars: Battlefront game that is set in the time period of the original trilogy. We were also told that there will be connections between Star Wars: Battlefront and The Force Awakens. Star Wars: Battlefront will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Darth Vadar PlayStation 4
For the mega Star Wars fan, Disney Interactive and EA have partnered to create the ultimate Star Wars gaming system — the limited-edition Darth Vader-inspired PlayStation 4. (Ohhhhh aaaahhhh!) The fully customized PS4 features an image of Darth Vader, a controller inspired by Darth Vader’s suit and more. It will be available on November 17 in one of two special bundles with either Star Wars: Battlefront or Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars.

Disney Infinity 3.0
Tons of new characters will join Disney Infinity 3.0 including Star Wars and Star Wars Rebels. With light up light sabers no less! Other new figurines include new characters from Disney and Pixar films Zootopia and The Good Dinosaur. There will also be an Inside Out play set in Infinity 3.0 and favorite characters like Mickey, Minnie, Mulan and Olaf.
Another exciting Infinity announcement was that new marvel world, Marvel Battlegrounds, will be released in March 2016 and will work any Marvel figurine ever made. There will also be several new unlock features in Infinity 3.0 including a Disney Magic Band unlocking the partner statue and an Oceaneers Band (from Disney Cruise Lines) will also have special unlock features. And the ultimate unlock, if you have all of the 3.0 characters, will be the keyblade from Kingdom Hearts.
