Each of baby’s firsts are amazing (a bit of a blur sometimes, but no less amazing.) From baby’s first bath to baby’s first steps, milestones are rejoiced by moms and dads. It may not all be smooth sailing, but those early days filled with firsts fly by so fast the must be celebrated and cherished.
To celebrate the launch of Pamper’s new commercial which features some of those amazing baby’s firsts, Pampers asked me to host a Pampers Baby Shower. I gathered some of my mom friends and planned a casual evening get together. After we put our babies to bed, it was time to check out the commercial and catch up on life.
Pampers Baby Shower Tips
I love a good party, and a baby shower is no exception. I don’t care if it is your first baby or your fifth, I believe every baby should be celebrated with family and friends. That said, after the first baby the mom-to-be’s needs change. She may already have the gear and even hand-me-down clothes. But every new mom needs a few basic necessities, including diapers!
My favorite Pampers Baby Shower decorations are those that double as cute and functional like a diaper cake. I have lost count of the number of diaper cakes I have made for friends and family. While I often make large, multi-level diaper cakes, for this party I decided to make several mini diaper cakes to use as decorations. Each of the four mini cakes I made included a dozen size 3 diapers and a box of wipes.
BTW – did you know Pampers Swaddlers now come in sizes 4, 5 and 6? When K was a baby, I was so sad when she outgrew the Swaddlers, I would have been thrilled to keep her in Swaddlers through size 6. And I am thrilled to put my potty-trained three year old in a size 6 Swaddlers for bed time!
Pampers Swaddlers are the #1 choice of hospitals in North America and the first diaper worn by millions of babies. They are the softest diaper and offer up to 12 hours of overnight protection with an Absorb Away Liner® to pull wetness and mess away from babies’ skin.
For our Pampers Baby Shower I served simple snacks including homemade orange juice muffins and an easy sangria. Both were a big hit with my guests, and I highly recommend them as very simple recipes. Because there is something nice about a few homemade treats, even if everything else is store bought.
Easy DIY Photo Booth
Photo booths are such a fun way to break the ice at a party. And they are simple to set up. For this party, I used a silver fringe decoration as the backdrop and a couple of simple DIY props. Learn how to make your own DIY chalkboard photo booth signs for a baby shower or any party!
Even my girls had to have their picture taken at the photo booth before the Pampers Baby Shower.
Tip – it would also be great playing in the background during the beginning of a Pampers Baby Shower.
Pampers Gifts To Grow Rewards
I’ve always been a Pampers mom, and I have collected tons of Pampers Rewards over the years (I use them to redeem for Shutterfly codes to persevere all of those sweet photo memories!). So I was excited to show my friends how they could earn 10 Pampers Rewards points for reviewing Pampers products (like size 6 Swaddlers).
Make Your Own Baby’s Firsts Video
After watching the Pamper’s Firsts video, you will probably wish you had your own video. Well guess what, Pampers will help you make one. Upload your favorite Baby’s First photos from your computer or Facebook to PampersFirsts.com and Pampers will turn the photos in to a 15 second video that you can share with friends and family.
Baby shower tip – you could also use this to make a Pampers Baby Shower video!
We had a great evening laughing and remembering our baby’s firsts.
I love pampers especially the strips that change color when the diaper is soiled. You did a fabulous job decorating for the baby shower. 😉
Thank you 🙂 And yes, I love that color changing yellow line!
We use just Pampers in our house.
What a great service provided by Pampers. It’s amazing what can be done with photos these days. Thanks for sharing!
So cute! I like the idea of making mini diaper cakes with the wipes attached. That way they’ll probably be more open to use them too. If it’s one large cake, I’ve found that the mommy will turn it into a keepsake, which is nice, but not very useful. Thanks!!
These are some fun ideas. Diapers are great for a baby shower gift, and you cannot go wrong with Pampers.
I used pampers for my kids and now my grandkids. I love them.
These are great ideas! I really like the photo booth!
Everyone loves getting Pampers at the baby showers I have gone too! This party is so cute love all the idea and the food looks great too.
Very fun party and decorations.
where did you get the Pampers balloons?
They were sent to me by Pampers as part of the supplies for the party. I don’t believe they are available for sale, just a promo item. Sorry!
