Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a Halloween-themed special event held on select dates in Magic Kingdom theme park. Purchase of an additional event admission ticket is required to attend.
Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes. Even better, you can collect delicious candy as you trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom theme park.
In addition to many favorite Disney attractions, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is filled with special entertainment, including:
- Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade—including Disney Characters and the stars of the Haunted Mansion attraction. The parade begins with a spook-tacular ride by the Headless Horseman.
- Happy HalloWishes—a spectacular fireworks show where the Disney Villains go trick-or-treating in the sky.
- Many favorite Disney Characters and Disney Villains in Halloween costumes.
- Special lighting, music and theming effects transform areas of Magic Kingdom theme park into happy haunted hollows.
The tone of the event is, well, “Not-So-Scary,” and is appropriate for children of all ages.

I am learning so much from your site! Thank you! Question though… Do to the not so scary Halloween party, can you purchase your pass for that, and only go to the party that evening… Or do you have to pay for an all day pass, and then pay for the party too? Hopefully that makes sense! Thank you!
Hi Michele – Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a separate ticketed event. So to attend you just need a ticket to the party (tickets start at $62 for adults and $57 for kids 3-9). That ticket gets you into the park with a special wrist band starting at 4 pm to enjoy everything Mickey’s Not So Scary has to offer. Because you can do everything at the park – it is actually a great deal to visit Disney for less!
If you wanted to be there all day, you would need a ticket for the day AND the ticket for the party that night. For example, we have seasonal passes but we still have to have a ticket to the party. But just for the party, you just need the special ticket.
I think that answers your question 🙂
That answered my question perfectly! Thank you so much!
