Best Summer Ever Pool Party

Summer and pool parties go hand in hand, and we love a good pool party. So even though we had a pool party at the beginning of summer, by mid-summer it felt like time to throw another one. Hey, I am going for the best summer ever here.

The guests were invited, snacks were planned, new water toys were purchased and we were ready to party!

When my first guest arrived, she mentioned that she forgot sunscreen. Thanks to Target, I was prepared and handed her a special goodie bag filled with summer essentials including Neutrogena Wet Skin Kids sunscreen. Perfect for a pool party. So we lathered the kids up and let them loose in the pool.

Although K wasn’t impressed with the mom goodie bags (she wanted goodies for kids!), the moms were. There are certain summer essentials that every mom needs to keep on hand — like Neutrogena sunscreen. (When was the last time you went to a party and got an adult goodie bag?)

While the kids splashed in the pool, the moms had a moment to catch up. I have to admit that was my favorite part of the party — relaxing with the moms. We talked about summer trips, camps and the upcoming school year — a little of everything.
