Revamp Lunch With A Flatout + Sunkist BOGO Offer ~ $50 Target Giveaway

Turkey cheese, turkey cheese, turkey cheese, turkey cheese, turkey cheese, turkey cheese, turkey cheese, turkey cheese.

I am a creature of habit. A serious creature of habit. I eat the same thing for lunch every day. (I also eat the same breakfast, in case you were wondering.) But this week I ate something out of my routine – I had tuna cheese. And it was delicious. (I’m a such dare devil!)

I actually used to eat tuna all of the time, but I got out of the habit somewhere along the way. I think it has been years since my last tuna salad sandwich, so it was like greeting an old friend. However my old friend has grown up.

Flatout StarKist Tuna Salad Sandwich

You might think something as simple as a tuna and bread don’t change, but you would be wrong. Forget the loaf of traditional bread, my sandwich went up scale with Flatout. And no more cans of tuna, now StarKist comes in pouches and check out the flavor variety available:

  • Tuna Creations® Ranch
  • Tuna Creations® Herb & Garlic
  • Tuna Creations® Zesty Lemon Pepper
  • Tuna Creations® Hickory Smoked
  • Tuna Creations® Sweet & Spicy

I mixed up lunch with some ranch tuna, mayonnaise, dill relish and American cheese wrapped up in a Flatout flatbread.

Flatout StarKist Tuna Wrap

It was so good, I also introduced Sissy to tuna for the first time. Of course, after her first bite she loudly proclaimed, “More chicken!” At least she liked it.

Whether you want to enjoy a tuna wrap, a tuna melt or possibly a tuna pizza, check out this deal. From now through October 14, 2013 you can get a free pouch of StarKist tuna with the purchase of any Flatout product at Super Target. (Flatout Flatbread can be found near the bakery and StarKist Tuna can be found in the canned fruit aisle at Super Target.)

  1. I would definitely try a wrap. I’d probably starve without wraps. I like the sound of the sweet & spicy wrap, maybe with cucumber slices for some nice crunch.

  2. I’d make a nice tuna wrap, with a splash of lemon juice and some veggies, like lettuce and thinly sliced onion and cucumber.

  3. I would mix the tuna with mayonnaise, sliced apples and sultanas the wrap in a Flat Out for a delicious lunch! Sounds like an odd combination but it is delicious.

  4. I would make a tuna celery and cheese melt on the flatout. I like to slice the celery really thing and put on sandwiches!

  5. I would make some faux “sushi” – make a wrap with the Flatout, Sunkist tuna, some cucumber, carrot… and then tightly roll and slice into “sushi” size-pieces.

  6. I would make a cold tuna wrap with onions, celery, and mayo.

  8. Oh boy… it would be a good way to subtly change my usual tuna, chicken or other lunchmeat sandwiches. And much easier to hold. 🙂

  9. I’d make a tuna salad wrap, for my boyfriend, because I don’t do tuna. so, I guess I’d have to learn how to make it first. LOL

  10. I think I would mix up some tuna salad like my mom used to make, with homemade sweet pickles and mayo. I would roll it up with some spinach, tomato, and Havarti cheese.

  11. I was going to say tuna melt with some kind of cheese, or tuna salad wraps, but there are so many good ideas posted here I might use some of these!

  12. I’m going to try all three of those recipes. They sound delicious not to mention quick & easy. Another one I would make
with Flatout and Starkist is Tuna, roasted red peppers, baby spinach, and red onion roll.

  13. I would create tuna rollups with tuna, lettuce, cucumbers, sprouts, tomatoes and just a touch of mayonnaise.

  14. Tuna, light layer of garlic hummus, fresh lettuce and cucumber – maybe a bit of jalapeno for spice – all rolled up on a Flatout – makes for a great lunch!

  15. I would make a chopped red onion, avocado, Sunkist tuna creations sweet & spicy melt with Swiss cheese on a Flatout bread.
