VISIT FLORIDA Is Giving Away 50 Florida Vacations!

This post brought to you by VISIT FLORIDA. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am a Florida girl, through and through. My family is one of the usual ones with roots in the state – seven generations worth. And I even married a FL boy. This is my home, and I can’t imagine living anywhere else.

While it is home, I am also very aware that people come from all over the world to visit our white sandy beaches, play in our theme parks and enjoy our awesome weather, and I do my best not to take advantage of living here. We visit the theme parks, we take weekend trips to the beach and we explore old Florida. There are so many great treasures to explore in FL, in fact, one of my childhood favorites is on my summer bucket list this year — Weeki Watchi Springs (real live mermaids – Google it!).

Whether you are from Florida, visit regularly or have never been to Florida, this is a sweepstakes you can’t miss entering. VISIT FLORIDA is giving away a different Florida vacation package every week through the end of 2013 through its Florida’s 500 Years of Adventure Sweepstakes. That’s a lot of vacations. Each week has a different prize, but most seem to include a hotel stay, car rental and breakfast. Some also include air travel and others also include activities. Looking over the list of prizes – I want to win! Any of them would be a fun getaway for my family. (Fingers crossed!)

For those who are forgetful (like me), you can even sign up to get a reminder to enter the next week’s contest every Monday if you like.

Visit Florida Sweepstakes

Look at the next couple of weeks, the vacations being given away through June 30 include:

  • Ft. Lauderdale
  • Daytona Beach
  • Palm Beach
  • Key West Escape
  • Captiva Island

Any of those vacays would be great, but since Captiva Island is the only place on that list I have never been. I would LOVE to win that one!  (Plus that one includes airfare for all you out-of-state folks.)

Bonus Prize For Everyone

You can enter the VISIT FLORIDA sweepstakes weekly for your chance to win each prize. On your first entry into the sweepstakes, you will receive a coupon code for $10 off your purchase of $10 or more at Shutterfly. A great little bonus to help you get those summer memories organized!

So what are you waiting for? Enter the Florida’s 500 Years of Adventure Sweepstakes for your chance to VISIT FLORIDA (see what I did there)! There’s nothing like a Florida vacation. Take it from me, I live here!

  4. I am a New Yorker and moved to south Florida 5 years ago. I like it, but I miss the neighbor I used to live in. I lived on Main Street and was able to walk to the water each day. It was a bit of a walk, but I enjoyed it. I haven’t been able to find that here. It is way too pricey. Nonetheless, I don’t miss the snow. I have been entering the sweeps in hopes of having my sister and her husband win a trip down here. I guess if I were to ever move from south Florida it would be back up north, but to RI. I did live in Orlando while interning at the at magic kingdom. It is definetly more affordable once you get off park, property.

  10. I live in Florida, and enter this sweepstakes every week. It sure would be nice to win a get away anywhere here in Florida. My husband has cancer, so the only way we’d be able to afford to get away is to win a get away because with all his medical bills, there is no way we can afford to go anywhere now-a-days.

  15. I am in Florida and grew up here, but I still love a good Florida vacation!! This state has so much to offer, while the weather may not vary from place to place there is so much to see! So much opportunity for some good relaxing time by the pool and the beach, that slower time can make for some of the best vacation memories.

  18. I have never been to Florida. I know they do not have a state income tax so I bet it is a great place to live, but probably more humid than most placers as well.

  19. Ooh, how fun! Even though I’m a short drive from most of the great vacation destinations, I rarely make it out of Orlando!
