eBay: One-Stop Shopping For All Your Gift-Giving Needs

When it comes to shopping for Christmas gifts, I live by one rule – when you see it, buy it. I don’t care if it is February, when you see the perfect gift for someone on your list — buy it.

If you are like me, as it gets closer to the big day, you start to be concerned with not only the perfect gift, but the perfect price as well. I still stand by my rule — when you find the perfect gift, buy it. Even if you have to pay (gasp) full price, buy it. When you get home, tape the receipt to it and make a note of the store’s return policy. Then go on a mission to find the best price. The first place to check – eBay. If you find it elsewhere at a better price, then you can return the original and all is well.

Whatever you do, don’t walk by that must-have toy in November hoping to find it for a better price in December. Santa does not like to see disappointment on Christmas morning, and trust me — that hot toy could very easily sell out.

I mentioned price shopping on eBay. Did you know there are good, often great, deals to be found everyday on eBay? Sure, you’ve heard about people cleaning out their house and selling their old stuff, but eBay isn’t just used stuff. You can also find the hottest gifts for everyone on your list – brand-new and for a great price.

I’ve been an eBay buyer and seller since 1998 (true story). I love when people ask me where I got something and I can tell them I got it on eBay – I am like a walking commercial. From electronics to toys, even make-up and designer purses, eBay has it all. I bet Santa could do one-stop shopping for all the good little boys and girls on his list on eBay!

So skip the lines, and let your fingers do the searching — search eBay for all your gifts. (I hear even Santa does some of his shopping on eBay these days.)
