Pack A Little Smile With Hallmark ~Giveaway

Now that the craziness of the back-to-school rush has slowed down (at least a tad), its time to start thinking about ways to make their day special all year long. (After all, the excitement of a new school year only lasts for so long.) One way to keep things fresh and exiting is by slipping little surprises into lunch boxes or school bags. No… not more toys. Just love notes. I fondly remember my mom sticking fun little notes in my lunch from time to time when I was in school, and it always made me smile and feel special.

Hallmark has taken lunch-time love notes to the next level with pre-printed notes. The tablet of 50 notes include cute messages like, “You’re a super star. When can I get your autograph.” and “I’m hugging you in my heart right now. I know, I know – I am squishing you. I’ll let go… in a minute.”

There are even fill in the blank notes like, “I’m so impressed by you! Here are 3 things you are really good at: 1)__________ 2) _________ 3) ___________” and “WOW! Congratulations. You did such a great job on__________”

The notes are filled with words of encouragement to help build up your kiddos’ self esteem. Something we could all use now and again.

There’s also a cuddly little lady bug available from Hallmark who is ready to hold your note and perhaps a little goodie too. I love that the “Bug ’em” is reusable. It could quickly become a family tradition passing him around to various family members who need a little smile.

In addition to little notes, Hallmark always has big notes to share too. From ‘rockin cards that sing, to cute cards offering a bit of encouragement, Hallmark’s got ya covered.

  1. It is definitely not when I do homework with them (terrible at patience), but we try to have open communication and stay very involved. Constant encouragement to come out of their shells and have courage.

  4. Besides notes, we have this set of polished stones (small) and they each have a meaning and he will carry one around so he is reminded of, peace, strength, patience, etc.

  5. I help them and let them take the lead when they are picking up the materials. I praise them when they do well and i tell my boys that I will help them and they’ll improve when they don’t do as well.

  6. I don’t have kids and many of my nieces and nephews are a bit too young for school…but one thing I would do, and that I remember when I was young, was getting my good work put on the refrigerator…it’s simple but it made me proud every time I saw it, and made me want to get more things to put on the fridge 🙂
