Tommee Tippee Explora Spill-Proof Drinking Cup ~ Giveaway

I have had a sippy-cup-drinking kiddo in the house for the last three years. Before you go telling me my four year old is too old for a sippy, let me explain. K is perfectly capable at of drinking from a cup, however, we still go with the sippy when she drinks her milk during TV time. Cups are reserved for the kitchen table. If you saw the way she lays around with that sippy, and leaves it behind on the couch, you would understand.

Back to my new friend, Tommee Tippee. We have tried many different brands of sippy cups, all promising to be spill proof, with mixed results. Some worked pretty well, others leaked while drinking from them. I don’t remember Tommee Tippee being available when K was a baby and I first started buying sippy cups, but I have certainly seen it in the store for a while. Until now, I hadn’t tried any Tommee Tippee products, mostly because we use sippy cups until they fall apart so we don’t replace them often. Plus I am a brand loyalist, so when I bought replacements I bought the brand we were used to (one that comes with Disney Princesses on it). Going forward, I am switching brands.

Baby girl is seven months old, and as much as I don’t want to admit that she is nearing the age, big sister first started using a sippy at 10 months old. It’s time to start thinking about sippy cups. K’s beginner sippys have long since disintegrated, so I need new replacements. If baby sippys are as spill-proof as the Tommee Tippee Explora drinking cups I am going to be a happy mom!

Tommee Tippee Explora drinking cups are REALLY Spill proof. For visual proof, watch this video

I can actually throw this cup in a cooler bag and arrive with no leaks. How nice is that? In the past, I actually used a tiny square of Glad Press and Seal over the tip of the sippy when taking milk to Mimi’s house. Not anymore.

Alright, maybe I am a little too impressed by this cup but if you’ve ever found a puddle of sour milk in your diaper bag, I bet you are impressed too.

So what did K think of the cup? “A space cup, that’s cool! What is the other cup? Dinosaurs? Mom, I don’t like dinosaurs. I like pink.”

Yeah… that was her big complaint. I was sent blue and green space/dinosaur cups and she wasn’t impressed. But don’t worry moms of girls, pink and purple patterns are also available.

Tommee Tippee Explora spill-proof drinking cups and sippy cups (and other feeding products) are available at Target and Target.com.

The heat sensing spoons look interesting. We currently use Tommy Tippee bottles so it could be a while before we get the opportunity to try them.

I would like to try the Explora Lil Sippee Training zippy cup. My baby hasn’t liked any of the sippy cups we’ve bought, so I love the idea of a training sippy cup.

I really like the Tommee Tippee Explora Little Sippie Sip cup 2pk. I think this would work best with my little one as he like to spill and bite on the cups.
