WARNING – I am about to make you drool…
Have you heard? TCBY is now available in the freezer section at Walmart (and Harris Teeter if you are near one of those). Oh yes, the same frozen yogurt we all know and love from TCBY in convenient take-home pints and quarts. YUM!
To taste test the new line of TCBY and celebrate National Waffle Day (yes, it’s a real thing) I hosted a pizza party/ice cream social. So off I headed to Walmart for the goodies. TCBY comes in a variety of flavors, however, my local Walmart didn’t carry all of the flavors. (I was disappointed not to find chocolate.) I grabbed one of everything available – Strawberry Swirl, Supreme Cookies & Cream, Mint Chocolate Chunk, English Toffee Crunch and Classic Vanilla Bean. You can read more about all the goodies I bought in my TCBY Google+ slide show.
To showcase TCBY, I decided to let everyone make their own sundaes with a DIY waffle bar. Look how pretty the display table turned out. So nice of TCBY to have pretty colored packaging to go with my decor.
I had lots of sweets to choose from. The kids went a little crazy.
After a little begging I let K have some of everything! That’s a lot considering that normally she only gets 1-2 pieces of candy – that’s it. (Gosh I am mean, LOL.) At least it was TCBY froyo with only 130 calories per serving. (A serving BTW is a 1/2 cup.) I was surprised to learn that each serving also includes seven probiotics too. This was very interesting to me after recently trying probiotics for the first time.
I wasn’t at all surprised that K picked Strawberry Swirl (after all, it is pink) topped with one of each candy, sprinkles and strawberries (a little extra goodness).
I, on the other hand, chose Mint Chocolate topped with chocolate syrup, chocolate chips and strawberries. I was surprised by how little the waffle bowls held and would have gone back for seconds if my hubs hadn’t put the frozen stuff away so it wouldn’t melt in heat.
My friend Amy had the right idea, adding an extra scoop on the side.
One of K’s friends isn’t a fan of frozen treats (too cold), so she just loaded up on candy. (Sorry mom!)
Everyone was happy with their TCBY treats, and best of all we had a great evening with our friends. The favorite flavor was the Mint Chocolate, followed by Strawberry Swirl. Of course, I only had pints of each these!
A funny thing, I guess no one mentioned to the kids that the waffle bowls were edible because when we went to clean up after the kids disappeared to play not one bite of the bows had been taken. Apparently this group of four year olds needs a bit more instruction. Not to worry though, the adults ate every last bite of theirs.
In addition to TCBY pints and quarts, TCBY has also has a line of frozen novelties (next I am going to try fudge bars – yum). Follow TCBY on Twitter with the hashtag #TCBYGrocery and on Facebook to stay up to date on products and promotions.

I’m drooling – that all looks so good. I want to try this stuff so bad, might have to make a special trip to get my TCBY FroYo
Such a cute party!!! I’m itching to try the English Toffee Crunch. Time for a trip to Walmart!
Cute! I love your fabric banner! We are doing a TCBY On a Stick party tonight!
Have a great day!

Oh wow, I don’t usually shop at Walmart but I might visit the Neighborhood Market now just to pick up some TCBY yogurt. Miss it so much since we moved away from our neighborhood with the drive-in TCBY!
