We have created a monster. A 3D monster. Introducing K to 3D movies seemed innocent enough. When we watched the Lion King in 3D we only had adult size 3D glasses, so we had to jerry-rig the glasses and adjust them throughout the movie. But just in time for Toy Story in 3D, we got K-sized glasses. Now all she wants to do is watch Toy Story 3D!
The Toy Story trilogy isn’t new in our house, and she has always enjoyed the movies, but she’s crazy about the 3D version. It’s hilarious! She begs to watch Toy Story 3D! I have to admit 3D is very cool, but who would have thought a 3 year old would be so crazy for 3D?!
Check my family watching Toy Story 3 in 3D
The first time she watched with her new glasses, she seemed to be very curious about the need for the glasses as she kept peering over the top of the glasses to check out the movie without the glasses. She calls the glasses her “3D sunglasses” – love it.
Toy Story, Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 are now available in 3D. The individual movies are available in 4- and 5-disc combo packs or, if you already own the movies, you can purchase the complete set of 3D Blu-Rays to add to your existing movies. (The 3D collection is on sale for $67.99 on Amazon, so if you already have the movies this is the most cost effective purchase.)
Disclosure -I was provided a copy of these movies to facilitate this review, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Love it. Looks like fun.
