Disney*Pixar Cars 2 is being released Tuesday, November 1, and Disney Movie Rewards has released a new coupon to help you save some bucks. Head over here to print out your $5 off coupon valid toward the 5-disc Blu-ray Combo Pack valid through November 6. You’ll need a DMR account to print the coupon (which is free to sign up for).
There are also two different $10 mail-in rebate offers you should be able to combine for a great deal. Each requires a proof of purchase tab from the movie, but since there are two on the movie you would be able to submit for both rebates. (Since the rebate offers accept photocopied receipts, so there’s no reason you can’t cash in on both.)
- Save $10 when you purchase Cars 2 Blu-ray or DVD Combo Pack and $10 worth of participating Johnson & Johnson consumer products
- Save $10 when you buy Disney*Pixars CARS 2 on Blu-ray Combo Pack of DVD and $20 worth of Kimberly-Clark products
Best Buy has the 5-disc Combo Pack on sale for $24.99 – $5 DMR Coupon = $19.99 + tax. If you send in both rebates, you’ll get the movie for just the sales tax plus the products needed for the rebates.
If you don’t want to leave your home to get your movie, Amazon has the 5-disc combo pack on sale for $26.99 with a $5 Amazon instant video credit ($26.99 – $5 credit = $21.99). You would still be eligible for the rebates purchasing it this way too.
UPDATE – Rayovac has added a third rebate option to the mix. The Rayovac rebate is for $5 back with the purchase of two packs of batteries. Since there are only two proofs of purchase on the movie, you will only be able to take advantage of two of these rebates. But if you are in need of batteries, this might be a great option for you. Find the Rayovac rebate details here.
I’m pretty sure walmart is only charing 15.00 for the DVD copy.
Unfortunately, the rebates and coupons are only on the combo packs. 🙁
