Trivial Pursuit STEAL + Giveaway

Trivial Pursuit loves who are short on space, it is time to rejoice. There’s a new game for you that takes up no more space than 2 decks of cards but packs all the fun of the full game. Bonus, this would be a great game for holiday travel.

How to play (simplified) – Players are dealt cards with colored wedges on them, and the question cards are stacked in the middle. When it is your turn you select a colored wedge from your hand to answer the corresponding to a category question on the top card. Categories = Geography, History, Science and Nature, Entertainment, Art & Literature and Sports & Leisure. If you answer correctly, your wedge goes in a pile in front of you. The winner is the first one to collect all of the colored wedges. (Note, there are wild cards and ways to trip up “Steal” your fellow players along the way.) Works for 2+ players ages +16.

My thoughts – I am terrible at Trivial Pursuit games, but they are so much fun. One great thing about newer Trivial Pursuit games (as opposed to the one that has been collecting dust at my mom’s house for 20+ years) is that Hasbro does a great job at keeping the games current with more recent, relevant questions. This Trivial Pursuit Steal is no exception. With questions such as who sings, “Step by Step?” “Name 3 of the 4 books in the Twilight series.” “At Starbucks, what is the small size that is not on the menu?” There are some great pop-culture questions that even I can answer (although I didn’t know the Starbucks answer).

This game would be great for a road trip, even the driver could play — as long as the driver trusted the person riding shotgun to keep track of their wedges.

BTW – the answers are NKOTB; Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse & Breaking Dawn; and Short.

Buy it – This is a brand new game that doesn’t seem to be available everywhere online, yet. It should retail for $6.99, but the only place I found it for that price was eBay. But keep your eyes peeled, it will be everywhere soon.

Win it – It’s hard to find to buy, so I am giving away 3 copies of this game!

Mandatory Entry – Visit Holiday Gift Guide and tell me one other gift that is on your list for the holidays.
