Canvas Press Review & Giveaway

I love canvas prints. There is something wonderful about seeing your favorite image blown up and printed on a canvas. It turns a photograph into a work of art. Our first canvas print was from our wedding, from there I decided canvas prints are all I would hang in our master bedroom.

The newest addition to our room is a 16 x 20 canvas of my daughter from her 2-year-old photo session, and I am in love! Of course, it helps that I think my daughter is adorable, but the canvas is just so cool.

For my newest canvas, I used Canvas Press, and I was impressed by every step of the processes. From ordering, to shipping, to arrival, everything was top-notch. The ordering process was so simple – 6 steps – 1) select wrap size, 2) select canvas size, 3) select border style, 4) select enhancements, 5) upload your image, 6) pay. That’s it. (And don’t worry if you don’t understand any of those steps, there are pictures to show you what each one means – I promise it’s easy!)

When my canvas arrived, I was so excited to see it and totally impressed with how it was shipped. I know they are professionals, so we should assume they know what they are doing shipping canvases, but these days… Well, Canvas Press knows what they are doing, this thing was wrapped tight and protected from every angle. It was like opening a jigsaw puzzle.

Once we finally got into the canvas… wow. I wish this photo could do it justice, but it just doesn’t. The colors POP – the pink is so vivid. If you look at the close up image, you can see the canvas texture that comes through – which makes it almost seem like a painting.

I received a 20×16 canvas with a 1 1/2 inch wrap, but another great thing about Canvas Press is the flexibility to order a canvas as big or as small as you need to fit your space (and budget). Starting at less than $50 for an 8×10 with a 3/4″ wrap and going up to just under $400 for a 36×48 with a 3″ wrap. Plus, they even have a referral program to help you earn credit for your next order by telling your friends (hint, hint – my referral code is BURG2804).

I can’t say enough wonderful things about my canvas print by Canvas Press, and I think every mom should have a canvas of her favorite photo.

Buy it – If you want your own canvas, Canvas Press has offered TheSuburbanMom readers a 15% off code – mamasays15 – good through May 31, 2010. (Don’t forget my referral code – BURG2804.)

Win it – One lucky TheSuburbanMom reader will win their own 16×20 canvas valued at $102.86 + shipping.

  1. I would probably use an image from my family’s vacation in North Carolina. We took a lot of Family Pictures and I have a really nice one of me, my parents and siblings. Or I would pic a really cute one of my son. Hmmmmm. Not sure which way I would go.

  5. Yes, many pictures come to mind. It would definitely be hard to choose. Right now, the one I am thinking of is one of my daughter in my mothers flowers, but I would preferably want it to be both of my children. We are planning a vacation to Greece, and I am sure we would get a great shot there for this!

It is a picture that I took of my son just laying on the floor- but it is at a weird angle and you can’t see his whole face. I don’t know if I am explaining it very well, but it is awesome!
